I bought it . I am hooked to it.
It's been a while since I got my competitive side out.
I am pretty average and I just managed to unlock the Ranked Battles but I haven't tried them out yet.
I like how the game tries to keep you hooked with some of the players yet it rotates them so they are not always in your team or against you.

The other night I followed a friend I know from my friend's job, and before I knew it I saw someone that renminded me of an online friend.
It turned out it was said friend that followed me just as well. :XD:
Anyway, it has been fun and the online works really smooth, when it lags you know it is going to cut you but has happened very few times so far.

Also, the campaign / story mode is simple, by stages but it has an interesting story. I am confident I know the identities of the Secret agents, but not the main villain. It seems I've done over half of the stages and now they're becoming more challenging. Boss fights are fun but easy so far.

I am using the girl inkling. Not sure if I should get the Amiibos, though.
Aparently they give you some challenges to get unique prices, so it is not just a tap-unlock thing, which was what I thought.
Giving challenges gives a bit more of a purpose to them. Plus I really like the humanoids ones.

I saw it and tried it. I wish that they made more of a big deal about the story. To access it you have to be some 14yo boy or girl who walks up to this seemingly mental man in the garbage 0.o really? really?

Eh. I am kind of preferential to games with a little darker of a theme and a story......if that is understandable.

    It is.
Hahah. I actually liked that introduction. I was expecting more from it than what I got. The story conclusion was a bit underwhelming although I enjoyed a lot that last battle.

Hahah. I don't know. To be honest when I played through I didn't even notice the implications. :XD:

There was a splat fest in Europe. During the event the sky becomes night time. The squid sisters sings their song on the plaza and you are divided in two teams decided by your votes. America was between cats and dogs and Europe between rock and pop.
You enter turf wars and gain points to rank from a normal rock/pop boy/girl into an eternal one. TIt happened in the middle of moving so I had the WiiU out just for it and then it was of the first things I temporarily set up just to participate. I got tired before midnight so my plan to stay up till 3 am failed. Moving furniture and boxes is tiring and didn't take that in account.

    Anyway, it was fun.
Splatoon may look kiddy but it is great fun. Since one of my friends and housemate also had his wii U, we used to go online together. I'd love cooperative battles and he rejoiced when we were in opposing teams, haha.
I haven't really touche dthe ranked battles otehr then curiosity check. I stick to turf wars.

It is very addictive, although I have too many projects and little time to play it. I do recommend the game for any Wii U owner.

I would probably have it if I owned a WiiU I heard it's relatable to super Mario sunshine and this other good taggingbased xbox game

Yeah, give it a go if you ever come across it.

Not sure about Mario Sunshine, except for the FLUDD.
As for the tagging based XBox game, I wish I knew which one you meant, @Edward_Stryfe . :-(

A fried told me anew stage and weapons have released.
Then I saw a japanese advert with kids throwing buckets of paint s a weapon and some heavy type of gun. It keeps getting more and more weapons, haha. I'd try the bucket.

    That's a shame.

Oh, I read through miiverse that we'll have the bucket update on August the second, or close.

They are going a bit too often with the Splatfests.

While America debates between hotdogs and marshmallows, we hage to decide between the north and the south pole.

    Another one coming.

Whoever chooses the poll in Europe males themes boring. So América gets autobots versus decepticons. We get: singing versus dancing.

The one before: America hot dogs versus marshmallows and we get North or south pole.
